| We've been home just a month
but it seems like we were hiking in France/Italy so long ago. How time
flies! After each trek with you two, I find myself telling friends and
anyone who will listen what a great time we had trekking with 2 outstanding
guides. Looking forward to hiking The Swiss Alps with you in 2005. |

| I'm finally doing the E mail
thing and sending you our big thanks for a great trek with you. Also
thanks again for my birthday champagne - wish I had written the name
down, it was the best I have ever tasted. I found out that my rock with
the fossile imprint on it is a Trillibite. Have you ever heard of that?
On the Oregon coast there's a large rock you can get to at low tide
and there is a whole trillibite print on it - so I am told. I'm about
to go up and down our 152 steps a couple of times and pretend I'm in
the mountains. |

| We have had a wonderful time. We'll
never forget this trek through these spectacular mountains in no small
part because it was arranged and conducted in such a wonderful way....
If you ever make it to the Bay area we'd be delighted to have you as guests

| Dear Ian, Walking along Seventh
Avenue on my way home from work and hearing the rare church bell, is about
the closest I'll come to finding the Engadine or Ticino in this city.
Noise, crowds, subways and sidewalks with an unnoticed pothole the greatest
danger one has to face make it hard to hang on to memories of space, silence
and oneness. I just wanted to thank you for all your life-sparing advice
on the trail (without which I don't know how I would have managed). ...
Again, it was an extraordinary trip, challenging physically, mentally
and psychologically. It came at just the right time in my life, bringing

| Thanks for a great trip! Irv and I enjoyed it all immensely. You all did such a great job making us all feel comfortable and having a good time together. Besides the trekking Irv especially enjoyed Pontresina and St. Moritz area. Ditto from me - I would do this trip all over again - I enjoyed it that much.. Also, thanks for helping XX so much. exhausted and sleep deprived. I believe everyone joins me in saying "it
was a great trekking tour in the Swiss Alps thanks to you and your team".
You made the trek a truly memorable experience and for me personally Engadine
