Snowshoeing holidays in France
|
||||
Snowshoeing
is a great way to get about in winter, the traditional way to travel over
deep snow and a peaceful change from those busy ski areas. Our Chamonix snowshoeing holidays are tailored to meet your needs. You may want to experience the deep, silent winter woods, to take landscape photograhs, to have a work-out or just to enjoy yourself in the deep snow. The thick woods and open slopes are home to deer, chamois, ibex, fox, marten, hare, weasel and stoat. We'll see lots of tracks and maybe - if we're very quiet ...we'll see the animals themselves. Snowshoes and trekking poles are supplied. You need to bring strong leather (or plastic) boots and gaiters (gaiters keep the deep snow out of your boots). |

Our snowshoe walks in the Chamonix valley are
great fun. We explore the forests or go higher, using ski-lifts, to wander
